asquaredm Provided assessment and review of practice by-laws, organization structure and management team for established academic practice plan. Recommended reorganization and streamlined Board Committees and revised terms and responsibilities for each functional board committee. Recommended streamlined and more clearly defined management team structure, re-wrote job descriptions and assisted in recruitment of senior team members.
Reviewed clinical department physician compensation plans and recommended simplified and improved compensation packages modeled around the realities of each clinical specialty and sensitive to the market the faculty practice operated in. Identified areas where better balance between academic, clinical and research components of compensation could be streamlined and related productivity improved in line with academic and clinical market realities.
Restructured and reconstituted the Executive Committee of the Practice Plan Board of Directors that allowed disparate components of the clinical departments to engage more completely with the President of the practice plan and their own clinical departments. Improved understanding, trust and direction of the practice plan around finances, relationships with the academic hospital and the practice plan’s own revenue cycle operations.
